Specifications of Chinrests

Sonowood chinrests have been designed in collaboration with musicians to ensure that they are both ergonomically and acoustically convincing. The chinrests are equipped with single titanium mechanisms.

Material

Sonowood chinrests are made of beech, maple, spruce and other woods. They weigh about 40 grams including the mechanism.

  • Cheaper alternative to Sonowood, contains glue
  • Slight swelling possible after prolonged contact with water
